Twin telescopes acquired Feb 2010 for Members to borrow .
Shetland Astronomical Society now has two new identical 12 inch Dobsonian telescopes with motorised Goto systems. These are Sky Watcher Flex Tube telescopes from the company Optical Vision. Members can arrange to borrow one of these for home observing. The telescopes will also be used for SAS star parties and other events.
One telescope is for use by members in the Northern Isles (please contact Peter Kelly to make arrangements) and the other is for use by members in other areas of Shetland (please contact Reg Hussey).
