Shetland Astronomical Society

A small group of SAS members met at Shetland Museum and Archives for an observing session. The evening was cloudy, but we managed to get a look at the moon through a 4 inch refractor and 5 inch reflector telescope that members brought along - once we remembered to remove the lens cap : )

We used the opportunity to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of each telescope and had a look at the go to systems included. All in all the meeting was worthwhile and we had a few interesting discussions.
